Marquardt's first step was to reconstruct a version of the song that stayed true to the original, serving as the foundation for producing additional mixes. As a result, there is now a new recording of "Der blaue Planet," featuring Claudius Dreilich as the vocalist. Claudius has taken on the role of frontman and singer for "Karat" for many years, following in his father's footsteps.

The primary goal throughout this project was to preserve the character and essence of the original, making this reissue a tribute to the enduring legacy of "Der blaue Planet."
